This is a small control button that is shown in the bottom right corner of the viewport when important navigation elements are out of sight.

General guidance

On long pages with a lot of content it can be useful to give the user the opportunity to jump back to the top of the page without endless scrolling. If the page is scrolled down, the button shows up in the bottom right corner.

Dos and don’ts

• Do make sure that the back to top button doesn’t overlap other interaction elements.
